At the gates of the Sidobre and the parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, Montredon-Labessonnie is a point of ideal departure for hikers. The trails are many and multiple discoveries: cascades and Arifat Castle, nature trail of the keel of the Roy, monolith. And in the sky, the stars await you. At the planetarium, technology and passion welcome you. Conferences, animation and celestial exploration are in the program. Professionals will make you discover the mysteries of the universe: the movements of the Earth, the colors of the sky, the celestial vault, the architecture of the cosmos a bit further, the domain of Castelfranc (private domain) houses the first Observatory of France, created by William boatman Castelfranc in the 16th century. In 2013, "les 3 Vallées zoo" opens near of the village. This zoo, one of the largest in the Southwest, brings together about 1000 animals of 100 different species on nearly 58 acres.
Gîtes de Montredon-Labessonnié village is located at the exit of the village on the road to Vabre and Saint-Pierre, opposite the Planetarium. You will find seven gites rural, distributed in four buildings, interconnected by two. They are all single-storey, with terrace, garden furniture and fireplace. Each cottage is composed of a living room with kitchen recently renovated, two bedrooms, bathroom with wc. Cot on request. Electric heating. Possibility to rent a TV in the village. Free access to the washing machine from the campsite across the road. Portico, barbecue, petanque field, ping-pong to share between all the occupants of the farm village. Possibility of renting sheets, service end of stay housework.
